CVS Caremark Charity Classic

Location: Rhode Island Country Club in Barrington
Volunteer with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Providence’s Ecology Committee. The CVS Caremark Charity Classic is entering its tenth year as one of the most prestigious golf tournaments in New England. Since its inaugural event in 1999, the tournament has raised nearly $10 million for charities. Thanks to the efforts of so many dedicated Ecology Committee volunteers, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Providence has received over $251,500 in tournament proceeds - all of which enable us to continue our rich tradition of improving the lives of local children.
Ecology volunteers are responsible for the collection and removal of trash from Rhode Island Country Club each day during the event. Volunteers must be 18 years or older and available to work a minimum of two shifts from the following: Sunday, June 22nd, 6am-1pm; Sunday, June 22nd, noon-7pm; Monday, June 23rd, 7am-3pm; Tuesday, June 24th, 7am-3pm. Volunteers receive one badge that allows grounds admission all three days of the tournament (this badge may be used during days or shifts that you are not working), volunteer uniform (shirt/hat), coupons redeemable for food and beverage, and free parking and shuttle.
