LOCAL McDONALD’S OWNER/OPERATORS SUPPORT BOYS AND GIRLS IN NORTH PROVIDENCE
Providence, RI – As part of McDonald’s commitment to the community, local owner/operators Peter and Linda Crisafi are supporting the Boys & Girls Club of Providence members in North Providence/Johnston by sponsoring the membership cards. By means of alleviating any additional costs to participating in Club activities, the Crisafis, who own four McDonald’s in northern Rhode Island, have signed on to underwrite the cost of the card program.
“We’re big supporters of healthy kids, and by being a part of what the Boys & Girls Clubs of Providence do we can play an important role in making sure all kids have access to the programs and fitness activities they need to grow into healthy adults,” said Peter Crisafi.
The membership cards – which help to ensure that everyone in the club is supposed to be there – will now carry the Boys & Girls Clubs and McDonald’s logo. As a bonus, whenever one of the club members visits one of the participating McDonald’s and shows their membership card they will receive a $1.00 off any Happy Meal or Extra Value Meal.
